ABE was started in 2017 as a hard copy magazine distributed at selected events in Europe and Africa but quickly gained traction thereby making it necessary to re-strategize to reach a wider audience. It has since evolved to become a purely on-line magazine accessible by readers all over the world.

To do this we have partnered with various Ministries, Chambers of Commerce and other government institutions to help drive their agenda of attracting investments and promoting exports in various countries of interest.
We also work with many of the associations and cooperatives in various countries assisting them to find partners and markets for their products as well as to source for machinery required for their businesses .
ABE boasts a strong team of experts and writers with an average of 10 years industry experience in journalism, the majority being economists with a wealth of knowledge of the African economy and its impact on the world economy.
Silas Odiero is the Founder and CEO of African Business Exchange. He is an experienced consultant and Market Expert having worked closely with various private and public institutions including Chambers of Commerce and Embassies such as the Zambian Embassy in Rome with which he enjoys very cordial working relationship.
He has successfully led many delegations mainly Italian to various African Embassies in Italy and facilitated the creation of important business relationships between private and public institutions. He has facilitated the establishment of European businesses such As the World Sustainability Organisation in Africa.
He has also facilitated the establishment of important collaborations like the one between the Zambian Embassy and Maris Research Center in Rome that will allow Zambia to leverage on the wealth of knowledge offered by the organisation. He is the Head of Communication and International relations at Farmers Networks App, an application built to help turn small holder farmers into profitable enterprises.
He is also a member of the Advisory boards at WSO (World Sustainability Organisation) and BEV ( Business e Via). He has recently been appointed by IABW (Italia Africa Business Week) as the Head of business development in Anglophone countries in Africa.
Linda Ogwell-Teunissen is a trained journalist and communications expert having written for various newspapers including The Standard, Star, People Newspapers in Kenya as well as The New Vision and Monitor in Uganda.
Other publications include various in-flight and lifestyle magazines. She has also worked as a Communications Expert and Publications editor with Oxfam Great Britain, Care International, Save The Children among other charities.
Her other areas of expertise include web content generation, media coordination, speechwriting and social media management.
